VSHC - HO CHI MINH CITY TOUR

8:00 am: our guide and driver will pick you up at the hotel and start the full day Ho Chi Minh city tour. In the morning, we visit the highlights in Ho Chi Minh City such as the Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Post Office.

Reunification Palace was the home and workplace of the President of South Vietnam during the Vietnam War. You will have a chance to see its unique architecture, visit formal meeting rooms, private bedrooms, war situation rooms 10 meter beneath earth’s level and learn many important historical events of the city in particular and the country in general.

Notre Dame Cathedral is located in the heart of Saigon and wasbuilt by the French in the late 1877s. It becomes one of famous landmark of the city with spectacular French architecture. You can take a lot of beautiful photos from all sides of the church.

General Post Office is another French architectural work built in 1886 -1891. The look and feel of this grand building is like an elegant railway station. It still works today.

At noon: have lunch at local restaurant.

Afternoon: We will visit War Crime Museum (This museum tells the story of war from the Vietnamese perspective. Exhibits include photographs, machinery, and weapons that depict the harsh realities of the war.

Then drive to China town to visit Thien Hau Temple- the Goddess of the Sea and Binh Tay market.  You can see Chinese featured architecture at the temples and pagodas and watch people purchasing a lot of commodities.

Before arriving at hotel, you have time to visit and shop at Ben Thanh market. Our tour ends.
