Rise early and visit the Plain of Jars, a famous archaeological site. The Plain of Jars is a megalithic archaeological landscape in Laos. It consists of thousands of stone jars scattered along the valley and central plains of Xieng Khuoang Plateau. Archaeologists believe that the jars in this field date back 1500 to 2000 years, created by people of the Mon-Khmer group. Mon-Khmer culture to this day remains a mystery of humanity.
