Itinerary

Day 1: Siem Reap Arrival

On arrival Siem reap airport, you are greeted by local guide and transferred to hotel, check in and relax.

Rest of the day, you can explore the town.  In evening, you can visit lively Pub Street or Angkor Night Market.

Day 2: Angkor Complex Discovery (B, L)

In early morning, our guide will pick you up and start the trip to at South Gate of Angkor Thom then visit the center of the city- Bayon temple.  Bayon is well known for its distinctive structures in the Angkor Complex with 54 towers decorated with more than 200 smiling stone faces. Then we also visit the Terrace of Elephants and Terrace of Leper King, as well as the jungle-covered Ta Prohm Temple.

After having lunch and relaxing, we head to the famous and majestic Angkor Wat- one of the largest religious monuments in the world. It is time for you to admire stunning and unique Khmer Architecture and learn about the stories and legends of the temples by our experienced guide.

Later today, we will climb to Bakheng hill to enjoy glorious magical sunset on top. This is an activity that cannot be missed.

Day 3: Siem Reap - Tonle Sap Lake (B, L)

Enjoy your breakfast at hotel and head to the Tonle Sap Lake the biggest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia to explore the famous floating villages. Here you will cruise along river observe the daily life of local residents. We will stop at local houses to interact with local families and learn about their culture.

Take afternoon flight to Phnom Penh.

Day 4: Phnom Penh City Tour (B, L)

In the morning, our guide will meet you at the meeting point to start exploring the capital. We will visit Royal Palace which is a complex of buildings serving as the royal residence of the King of Cambodia, Silver Pagoda whose floor was made up of 5,000silver tiles, National Museum which exhibits a large collection of Khmer artifacts and renowned Wat Phnom - a sacred temple situated on a hill after which the city is named.

After lunch, we continue visiting Tuol Sleng Prison Museum and the Killing Fields of Choeung Ek. These are 2 places reminding the atrocities and victims of the Khmer Rouge regime.

Later you can get on a boat along Mekong river bank and watch marvelous sunset. In the evening, you are free to visit night markets for souvenirs and handcrafted items.

Day 5: Phnom Penh - Ho Chi Minh City (B)

You are free in the morning in Phnom Penh. Then we will take flight to Ho Chi Minh city also called Sai Gon, check in hotel and free to explore the bustling and vibrant city.

Ho Chi Minh City is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Vietnam because of its classic French architecture, cultural diversity, ornate temples and pagodas, skyscrapers and excellent cuisine.

Day 6: Ho Chi Minh City Tour (B, L)

In the morning, our guide and driver will pick you up at the hotel and start the full day Ho Chi Minh city tour. In the morning, we visit the highlights in Ho Chi Minh City such as the Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Post Office.

Reunification Palace was the home and workplace of the President of South Vietnam during the Vietnam War. You will have a chance to see its unique architecture, visit formal meeting rooms, private bedrooms, war situation rooms 10 meter beneath earth’s level and learn many important historical events of the city.

Notre Dame Cathedral is located in the heart of Saigon and was built by the French in the late 1877s. It becomes one of famous landmark of the city with spectacular French architecture. You can take a lot of beautiful photos from all sides of the church.

General Post Office is another French architectural work built in 1886 -1891. The look and feel of this grand building is like an elegant railway station. It still works today.

At noon, we have lunch at local restaurant.

In the afternoon, we will visit War Crime Museum which exhibits photographs, machinery, and weapons that depict the harsh realities of war

Then drive to China town to visit Thien Hau Temple- the Goddess of the Sea and Binh Tay market. You can see Chinese featured architecture at the temples and pagodas and watch people purchasing variety of commodities.

Before arriving at hotel, you have time to visit and shop at Ben Thanh market.

Day 7: Ho Chi Minh city - Mekong Delta (B, L)

Our guide picks you up at Hotel then transfer to My Tho around 10:00 am.

We first visit Vinh Trang Pagoda to admire a mixture of Khmer, Chinese, Vietnamese and European design features.

Next, we will take a boat ride and watch stilt houses, fruit orchards and fishing villages along the river bank, then proceed to Unicorn Island and visit a bee farm where you taste a cup of authentic honey tea. We have lunch at orchard garden and enjoy traditional Southern singing.

After lunch we get on a small boat to Ben Tre and enjoy cruising on a hand-rowed sampan under the shade of water coconut trees along natural canals, then take a short walk in the coconut farm tolearn how coconut candies are made.  We are back on big boat to My Tho, then transfer to Ho Chi Minh.

Day 8: Ho Chi Minh - Danang - Hoi An (B)

Today we will take a short flight to Da Nang then transfer to Hoi An and check in and relax

In the afternoon: you will join a walking tour to explore the ancient alluring Hoi An town a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Hoi An is a quaint riverside town famous for its charming architecture, old houses, temples and tailor shops. Our guide will take you to visit highlights of the town such as 200-year old Tan Ky ancestral house, the Japanese Bridge and Phuc Kien Assembly Hall etc.

In evening, you can freely walk around the town or an authentic boat trip on river to release flower lanterns and admire colorful Hoi An at night.

Day 9: Hoi An Free Day (B)

Free at leisure today for shopping, biking to villages, taking a cooking class or relaxing.

Day 10: Hoi An - Hue - Half Day Tour (B)

After breakfast, we transfer to Hue by bus via Hai Van pass where you can have a great view of impressive landscape, arrive in Hoi An, check in and relax at hotel.

Known as a former imperial capital of Vietnam, Hue possesses a large number of relics that still retain their inherent forms from the distant past.

In the afternoon, we start the tour to the Citadel and the Forbidden Purple City and Dong Ba market before coming back your hotel.

Day 11: Hue City Tour - Train to Hanoi (B, L)

In the morning, our guide will pick you up and take a boat trip along Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda which is one of the most beautiful and ancient pagodas in Hue.

Then we visit Khai Dinh Tomb - a combination of Western and Eastern architecture and Minh Mang Tomb considered as the most beautiful and majestic tomb Nguyen Dynasty. At noon, we will enjoy a lot of dishes with strong Hue flavor.

Rest of the day is free at your leisure and prepare for night train to Hanoi.

Day 12: Hue - Hanoi by Train (B)

Arriving in Hanoi station, you are welcomed by local tour guide and driver at outside of the Railways gate to transfer to the hotel. Check in hotel and relax.

In the afternoon, you are free to visit the city.

Day 13: Hanoi City Tour (B, L)

After breakfast, we will start Hanoi city tour. First we come to Ho Chi Minh Complex including Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum where the body of Uncle Ho was kept, Ho Chi Minh’s stilt house - the living and working of President Ho and One Pillar Pagoda - one of the most iconic temples in Vietnam which was built of wood on a single stone pillar and designed to resemble a lotus blossom.

At noon, we will have lunch at a restaurant and relax.

In the afternoon, we continue the tour to the Temple of Literature - the first University of Vietnam. The next destination is Museum of Ethnology to learn about culture of 54 ethnic groups of Vietnam. After that, we will explore Hanoi by cyclo around Hoan Kiem Lake and through ancient streets in Old Quarter before getting back the hotel.

Day 14: Hanoi - Ha Long Bay (B, L, D)

After breakfast, we head to Halong Bay - a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its spectacular limestone mountains rising up from emerald crystal waters. Today you will enjoy a relaxing cruise through marvelous caves and islets and visit local villages and also have time for swimming, kayaking, bamboo boating and watching beautiful sunset on cruise.

After dinner, you can join some interesting activities and games on cruise or you may try your luck with squid fishing.

Day 15: Ha Long - Hanoi - Fly to Vientiane (B)

Wake up in early morning to join Tai Chi session on sundeck and watch glorious sunrise and enjoy tea and coffee. Breakfast is served on board while cruising back the harbor.

We transfer directly to Hanoi airport for the flight to Vientiane, Laos. Welcome upon arrival by Laos tour guide and transfer to hotel and check in.

Day 16: Vientiane City Tour (B, L)

Vientiane does not own large modern buildings, entertainment areas or busy streets,but there are numerous old temples dating back hundreds of years of history.

After breakfast, our guide will take you to visit top attractions of the city such as Wat Haw PhraKaew, Wat Si Saket, Pratu Xai, Pha That Luang and COPE - an organization that helps people with mobility-related disabilities free of charge.

Overnight in Vientiane.

Day 17: Vientiane - Fly to Luang Prabang (B)

We will transfer to the airport today for a short domestic flight to Luang Prabang which is known as one of best-preserved traditional cities in Southeast Asia.  Some highlights cannot be missed are Wat Xieng Thong and Wat Mai, Royal Palace, the National Museum and Phousi Hill where you can climb to the top to get a panoramic view of the city.

Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 18: Luang Prabang - Pak Ou Caves (B, L)

Head out of town to visit Pak Ou Caves situated in the Mekong and Nam Ou Rivers.Board the cruise and discover the life of Laotians right before your eyes.

Disembark to visit Pak Ou Caves - the sacred caves for Buddhism followers. Take a walk to the local village for lunch before cruising back to the city in the afternoon.

Return to your hotel.and free time in the evening. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 19: Departure (B)

Today our driver will take you back to the airport for your next flight to home or other destination. Indochina tour ends here and have a safe trip!
